Belinda Freeman

Belinda Freeman is a Project Manager at CABS Health Network, playing a vital role in the success of numerous population and community health initiatives. Her leadership has been instrumental in the DSRIP Pediatric Asthma Self-management programs, the NYCHA Senior Services Partnership, and the Elder Fund for Nutrition interventions. She also spearheaded the Medicaid Together Improving Asthma Program and the Vaccine Equity Partner Engagement. In her role, Belinda manages project implementation, staff training, and compliance, contributing to significant outcomes such as a 74% referral-to-enrollment rate in the Pediatric Asthma program and a notable reduction in rescue medication use and emergency services among participants.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Ms. Freeman secured over $1.5 million in PPE donations for frontline workers and communities. She continues to manage key partnerships with the Department of Health & Mental Hygiene and the Fund for Public Health of New York, overseeing programs that deploy integrated pest management services to homes across NYC and improve vaccine access for marginalized communities in NYCHA developments.
