Deirdre Flynn

Deirdre Flynn has held finance, strategy, and operations roles working across a broad range of social service, consulting, and finance organizations. Currently she is the Senior Healthcare Payment and Finance Advisor in the Health Systems Strategy and Accountability unit at the New York City Department of Health. Before working at NYCDOH, she worked at Path to Jobs, an organization that connects peer and community health workers with health and human service organizations looking to hire skilled, motivated frontline staff. Deirdre was also a Director at Nonprofit Finance Fund, advising community-based organizations that address social drivers of health on contracting with health systems and payers to serve their Medicaid clients. She began her career as a Financial Analyst and holds an MBA in Healthcare Management.
