We are more than just a resource provider; we are partners in the journey to better health. Through activities like our chair exercises for seniors, community health and social care workshops, and resource navigation services, we empower individuals to take control of their health and well-being.

Thanksgiving Basket Giveaway
Each year, we distribute Thanksgiving baskets to families in need, providing essential holiday meals. Each basket costs an average of $50 and includes a turkey, vegetables, pantry staples, and festive treats to ensure no family goes without during the holiday season.
- A donation of $100 provides a full Thanksgiving meal for two (2) families (approximately 10 people).
- A donation of $1000 provides a full Thanksgiving meal for 20 families (approximately 100 people).
Holiday Toy Drive & Holiday Shopping Gift Cards
Our holiday toy drive ensures that children in our community experience the joy of the season. We also provide gift cards to families for holiday spending, offering them the opportunity to purchase gifts and necessities. The average children’s toy is $11 and gift cards start at $25 to a variety of the local favorite shops within the community, including major retailers.

Community Baby Showers & Maternal Health Initiatives
The CDC estimates that, in 2021, the maternal mortality rate among Black women was nearly 70 deaths for every 100,000 live births. That is 2.6 times the rate for white women, regardless of income or education.
We are dedicated to supporting expectant and new mothers in underserved communities through our Community Baby Showers. The activity offers essential baby supplies, educational resources, and a supportive network. These events create a joyful space for mothers to connect with health professionals, learn about prenatal and postnatal care, and receive crucial items for their newborns. Our focus on maternal health encompasses comprehensive services including prenatal and postpartum care, nutrition education, and mental health resources, aiming to improve health outcomes and reduce disparities.
By supporting these initiatives, you help us ensure every mother and child in our community has the best start in life, making a significant impact on family well-being.
